About the Client

SIRIM Berhad is Malaysia’s premier research and technology organisation and is wholly-owned by the Malaysian Government through the Ministry of International Trade and Industry (MITI). SIRIM plays a crucial role in Malaysia’s conformity assessment ecosystem, which includes testing, inspection and certification (TIC) services, writing of standards, and metrology. 

Objective

SIRIM QAS International is Malaysia’s leading Conformity Assessment Body (CAB) with over 40 years of experience in providing testing, inspection and certification (TIC) services to local and international clients. It is a subsidiary of the country’s premier research and technology organisation, SIRIM Berhad, which is wholly-owned by the Malaysian Government through the Ministry of International Trade and Industry (MITI).
