About The Client

The Energy Commission (ST) is a statutory body under the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources (KeTSA) responsible for regulating the energy sector in Malaysia, specifically the electricity and piped gas supply industries. Its main focus is on ensuring a reliable electricity and gas supply within Malaysia as well enforcing reasonable costs and safety measures within the industry.

Objective

As the energy sector regulator of Peninsular Malaysia and Sabah, ST wanted to keep energy industry players and potential investors in Malaysia informed of their efforts to bring about a world-class energy sector in Malaysia, as well as the various regulations and initiatives introduced by ST.

What We Did and how we did it

Featured the then Chairman of ST – Tan Sri Dr Ir Ahmad Tajuddin Ali – on the cover of our proprietary business magazine International Business Review along with a 10-page cover story which explored the history and achievements of the Commission
Conceptualised Energy Malaysia, a quarterly publication that serves as a platform through which ST could send their message out to their target audience. It features in-depth feature articles focused on energy related themes such as energy efficiency, energy security, renewable energy, the gas sector, and the liberalisation of the Malaysian energy market.
Produced print advertisements for ST which showcased the roles and responsibilities of the Commission
Produced ST’s Annual Report for 2017 which was published in English and Malay
Produced ST’s Annual Report for 2018 which was published in English and Malay
Positioned ST’s CEO as a thought leader in the energy industry by featuring an excerpt of his interview relating to RE in the introduction of a new feature in International Business Review, 21 Entities That Are Powering the Green Revolution
Currently working on producing ST’s 2020 Annual Report which will be published in English and Malay
Currently working on producing a commemorative Coffee Table Book in conjunction with ST’s 20th anniversary celebration, SUTERA20, highlighting the Commission’s and the industry’s milestones over the past two decades
Currently working on producing the ST Memoir which will document interviews and quotes by ST’s employees and top management regarding the institution and its achievements as part of the SUTERA20 celebration
Currently working on creating a video to help launch the ST time capsule for the SUTERA20 celebration event
