Objective

In line with its mission, CIDB wanted to enhance communications and outreach to industry players so as to create greater awareness of its activities as well as regulations and policies intended to enhance the construction sector in Malaysia. In addition, the agency also sought to heighten understanding of the growing importance of sustainability in construction.

Why The IBR Asia Group

CIDB commissioned The IBR Asia Group to formulate a plan to help achieve those objectives owing to our strong track record of being able to disseminate information and bridge communication gaps between government and the private sector through our proprietary publication International Business Review as well as through projects done with individual Ministries and agencies.

What We Did and how we did it

Conceptualised and executed the creation of Heights – a platform through which CIDB was able to communicate the latest regulations, innovations and technology to industry players while getting feedback from them.
Revamped and produced content for Bina MAMPAN – the platform used by the Sustainable Construction division of CIDB subsidiary the Construction Research Institute of Malaysia (CREAM) – to better highlight sustainability efforts and innovations in the construction industry.
